The postcards here are early twentieth century views of Lady Cliff Academy, the Franciscan Sisters' school on the former Cranston's Hotel property. They show the Academy from the river and on its cliff, its terraces and grounds, a gazebo above the Hudson, the river through the trees, the Highlands shoreline, and Buttermilk Falls at Highland Falls.

The campus photographs come from the alumnae site's own gallery: the chapel interior and chapel tower, Rosary Hall and the grounds, the campus towers, and views of the Hudson, Highland Falls and Constitution Island from the campus, one of them in late winter. Captions are kept short and factual, and nothing has been retouched beyond resizing.

The story of the 1905 watercolor once shown in this gallery is told on its own page.
